What we collect

If you Join: name, email, date of birth (to confirm you are 16 or older), and a profile image from Google or X, or the email you type. Posts and messages you write. Who you block. Ride Cards store a SHA-256 hash of the VIN and the last six characters — never the full VIN on the card face. We do not sell personal data. We do not use ad networks, and we do not track you across other companies' apps. A shop can buy a labeled spot in the bay. That spot is not a tracker.

Who sees it

Public feed posts are visible to other people. Sign-in is handled by our auth broker (Google or X) or our own email/password store. Hosting and database providers process data to run the app. They are required to protect it at least as well as we do.

VIN and location

A Ride Card is optional. Location on a card is what you type or share. You can skip it. Camera and mic are never on in the background.

Kids

phASE is for working techs, 16+. It is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Keep, delete, consent

We keep account data while the account is open. You can delete the account in the app (Your bay → Delete account) or at the public deletion page. That removes your posts, messages, and Ride Cards. We may keep a record of the request. Billing records Apple or Google already have stay with them. Withdraw consent by deleting the account or signing out and staying on Bay.
